The updated Community Transition Manual, a change summary document, and a technical assistance document were posted on the Division website and disseminated via email blast on October 4, 2017. Two webinars to review the manual updates and supporting documents were held on November 3, with presenters Titus Mayberry, Community Living Coordinator—Rolla Satellite Regional Office and Jennifer O’Day, Assistant Director—Rolla Satellite Regional Office. A total of 177 individuals participated in the presentations, with representation from all regions of the state. Additional participation data can be found here.

Coordinating Employment Supports
Provider Bulletin #9—DD Home and Community-Based Waivers: Employment Services and a supporting technical assistance document were posted on the DD website and disseminated via email blast on August 4, 2017. The Bulletin and technical assistance document provide clarification on waiver employment service requirements and comparable Vocational Rehabilitation services. As a follow-up to the release of this information, Duane Shumate, DD Director of Youth Transition and Employment presented two webinars on August 29 & 30 to review the contents and answer questions.
