Missouri Suicide Prevention Network

The Missouri Suicide Prevention Network (MSPN) is an independent, non-partisan, voluntary group of individuals, organizations, and public and private agencies who lead statewide suicide prevention efforts. MSPN was created in 2018 to reduce suicide through increasing coordination of efforts and implementing best practices for suicide prevention statewide. It is dedicated to promoting local, regional, and statewide suicide prevention initiatives that follow a public health framework and focus on evidence-based data, collaboration, and active community engagement.

Help Him Stay Campaign Campaign Period: 2016 – 2019

Missouri Department of Mental Health Decrease launched a statewide campaign from 2016 – 2019 titled "Help Him Stay." The purpose of this campaign was to encourage help seeking among all males but specifically targeting middle-aged males in rural areas who are at highest risk of suicide in Missouri.
