We set up a "sick bay" at an empty ISL and were stocking with PPEs needed to support consumers that may test positive for COVID-19. However, we couldn't find masks or gowns. We spent hours and hours trying every avenue possible to obtain these necessary items to keep our staff safe. All avenues were failing. Then, yesterday, and EMS guy in a red shirt delivered two boxes of N95 masks. We have no idea where they came from, but are so grateful.
In addition, inmates from the Department of Corrections, sewed 150 masks for our team to use in the rest of our homes.
