Family Flexible Assistance Program FY 27 Funding Announcement East Missouri Autism Project
The East Missouri Autism Project (EMAP) Family Flexible Assistance Program (FFAP) provides funding to eligible individuals with autism enrolled with the Division of Developmental Disabilities, and who live in the EMAP region.
Counties served: Jefferson, St. Charles, St. Louis, St. Louis City
Please note: Individuals who are enrolled in a Medicaid Waiver are not eligible to receive FY27 EMAP FFAP funding.

FY 27 FFAP Funding Information
EMAP FFAP Award Amount: $1,800
Total EMAP FFAP Allocation: $1,718,852
Total EMAP FFAP Slots Available: 955
Priority Status
Individuals who did not receive FFAP funding in FY26 will receive priority consideration when applying for FY27 EMAP FFAP awards. If the number of eligible priority applicants exceeds the funding available, awards will be determined through a random selection process among eligible priority applicants.
After all eligible priority applicants have been considered, any remaining funds will be awarded to other eligible applicants through a random selection process.
Important Information Before Applying
Because funding is limited:
- Submitting an application does not guarantee funding.
- Apply only if you expect to use the full award amount during the fiscal year.
- Funds must be used by June 30, 2027.
- Keep receipts for eligible purchases made on or after July 1, 2026.
