Dustin Wright began his career as a Direct Support Professional with a private provider in Indiana while attending Purdue University. After graduation, Dustin continued his work in the field of developmental disabilities as a frontline supervisor and then Director.

In 2006, Dustin was one of the founders of Rest Assured as their executive Director.  In this role, he directed operations and developmental at the company’s innovative remote support center. He has also helped many state regulators shape remote support policy and reimbursement models.

Dustin in the founder of Disability Cocoon. Disability Cocoon is a disability technology catalyst whose mission is to help people enable possibilities with the appropriate application of technology.

Julie J. Christensen, MSW, PhD, is the Executive Director and Director of Policy and Advocacy at the Association of People Supporting Employment First (APSE). Prior to joining APSE, Dr. Christensen served as the Director of Iowa’s University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) at the University of Iowa, where she was also research faculty in the Carver College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Christensen’s previous experience includes her role as the Director of Employment Programs at the Strong Center for Developmental Disabilities at the University of Rochester (a New York UCEDD), where she served as the Principal Investigator and Project Director for the New York State Partnerships in Employment Systems Change project, Co-Director of the New York Employment First State Leadership Mentor Program, and as the New York State Coordinator for Project SEARCH. Dr. Christensen received her undergraduate degrees in advertising and music from Syracuse University, and a Masters in Social Work from Roberts Wesleyan College and her Ph.D. in Health Practice Research at the University of Rochester.

Dr. Maulik M. Trivedi is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician in practice for over 20 years. He has served as the chairman or associate chair of several emergency departments and has been an integral part of the core leadership of Emergency Medicine provider groups in the NYC region. He’s a founding partner of StationMD and has been instrumental in helping the organization achieve its mission of improving the quality of care for the I/DD population. Dr. Trivedi is a national speaker who’s been featured on news programs and podcasts, and he’s a recognized thought leader on the use of technology and telehealth solutions to positively impact an individual’s medical care and foster independence. He continues to practice as an emergency room doctor in the NYC area. He and his family currently live in midtown Manhattan.
