Parent Advisory Council

East Missouri Autism Project Map

The East Missouri Parent Advisory Council is composed of seven to nine individuals that have family members with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).  To be a member of a Parent Advisory Council, you must be a Missouri resident and have a family member with ASD that meet the Division of Developmental Disabilities eligibility to receive services.

Families are encouraged to attend regional Parent Advisory Council meetings as often as their schedules allow.  These meetings are a great way to get involved, meet other families, and provide valuable feedback to the Department regarding services, challenges, and successes.  You do not need to be a member of the Parent Advisory Council to attend meetings and provide feedback.  All meetings are open to the public.

However, if you are interested in serving on a regional Parent Advisory Council you can visit the Parent Advisory Council webpage for more information or contact a member of the Central Missouri Parent Advisory Council below.
