Greg Deardorff, PharmD, BCPP

Is the Residency Program Director and Clinical Pharmacy Manager at Fulton State Hospital. He provides clinical services to patients on the Recovery & Self-Motivation and New Outlook Programs. He completed his Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN, and a PGY-2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency at Northwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program in Saint Joseph, MO. Dr. Deardorff is also adjunct assistant professor with UMKC School of Pharmacy, adjunct clinical faculty with STLCOP, and adjunct clinical faculty with MU School of Medicine.

Victoria (Tori) Jenne, PharmD, BCPS

Serves as the Pharmacy Director at Fulton State Hospital. She provides clinical pharmacy services to patients on the Social Learning and Competency Restoration & Acute Forensic Treatment Programs. She is also adjunct clinical faculty for UMKC School of Pharmacy. She completed her Doctor of Pharmacy at St. Louis College of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health in Epidemiology at Saint Louis University. She completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at John Cochran VA Medical Center in St. Louis, MO.

Megan Trout, PharmD

Is a Clinical Pharmacist at Fulton State Hospital. She provides clinical pharmacy services to patients on the Social Learning (long-term care) and Competency Restoration & Acute Forensic Treatment Programs. Dr. Trout completed her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Thrifty White Pharmacy in Fargo, ND, and is a previous graduate from our program.

Josh Wood, PharmD

Is a Clinical Pharmacist at Fulton State Hospital. He provides clinical services to patients on the Recovery & Self-Motivation and New Outlook Programs. Dr. Wood has also been involved with the implementation and management of our PhIS, eMAR, and CPOE applications, and promotes technology advancements for the facility. Dr. Wood is currently participating in the DMH’s RPI Green Belt training program, whose current project is implementing patient-specific multi-medication pouches, helping improve patient compliance and decreased nursing workload. He completed his Doctor of Pharmacy at Albany College of Pharmacy.

Lauren McCulley, PharmD, BCPP

Is a Clinical Pharmacist at Fulton State Hospital. She provides clinical pharmacy services to patients on the Social Learning Programs, New Outlook Programs, Sex Offender Rehabilitation and Treatment Services, and Competency Restoration & Acute Forensic Treatment Programs. Dr. McCulley completed her Doctor of Pharmacy at St. Louis College of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at VA Ann Arbor Health Care System in Ann Arbor, MI, and a PGY-2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency at Center for Behavioral Medicine in Kansas City, MO.

Jesse Hurd, RPh

Is a Clinical Pharmacist at Fulton State Hospital. He provides clinical pharmacy services to patients on the Sex Offender Rehabilitation and Treatment Services Program, which is a high-security unit housing 100 civilly committed Sexually Violent Predators. He completed his Pharmacy degree at St. Louis College of Pharmacy.

Jason Cafer, MD

Is a clinical psychiatrist with 20 years of experience.  He serves as Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at University of Missouri-Columbia and previously as Medical Director of Behavioral Health Services at SSM Health/St Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, MO.  He completed Medical School and Psychiatry Residency at University of Missouri-Columbia. He is the author of Cafer's Psychopharmacology: Visualize to Memorize 270 Medication Mascots, which offers a visual mnemonic system for pharmacokinetic drug-drug interactions.  For the 2022-2023 academic year he received the Outstanding General Psychiatry Faculty Award and the Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching Medical Students.

Courtney Kominek, PharmD, BCPS, CPE

Courtney Kominek
Is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Pain Management at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. She is also a Certified Pain Educator. She completed her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at the Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Dayton, OH, and a PGY-2 Pain Management and Palliative Care Pharmacy Residency at the West Palm Beach Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL.

Roger Sommi, PharmD, BCPP, FCCP

Roger Sommi
Conducts psychopharmacy research and serves as a consultant in difficult management cases throughout the state of Missouri. He graduated from the University of Utah and is Associate Dean of the UMKC School of Pharmacy MU Campus and a Professor with UMKC School of Pharmacy. Dr. Sommi is a founding member and past president of CPNP. In addition, Dr. Sommi was recognized as the 2011 Saklad Award Recipient and is actively involved in Phase 2-4 clinical trials, landmark studies such as the CATIE study, and original research. Dr. Sommi assists with the residents’ research projects and the research elective experience.
