      Fiscal Review for Purchase of Service (POS) and Individual Funds

      This webinar describes the fiscal review process for POS and Personal Spending funds. The required documentation to support POS billing is discussed and participants are given information on Social Security requirements, as well as the requirements from the Regional Offices, in regards to maintaining an individual’s funds. A total of 356 registrants attended this webinar presented by Charles Bentley, DMH Medicaid Eligibility Specialist, and Anna Leonhard, Correspondence and Information Specialist for the Family Support Division. This webinar had 147 attendees and was designed to provide information to TCM entities and providers (support coordinators, program managers, behavior analysts) on writing safety crisis plans for the individuals that they support.       Community Transition Process

      The updated Community Transition Manual, a change summary document, and a technical assistance document were posted on the Division website and disseminated via email blast on October 4, 2017. Two webinars to review the manual updates and supporting documents were held on November 3, with presenters Titus Mayberry, Community Living Coordinator—Rolla Satellite Regional Office and Jennifer O’Day, Assistant Director—Rolla Satellite Regional Office. A total of 177 individuals participated in the presentations, with representation from all regions of the state. Additional participation data can be found here.       Coordinating Employment Supports

      Provider Bulletin #9—DD Home and Community-Based Waivers: Employment Services and a supporting technical assistance document were posted on the DD website and disseminated via email blast on August 4, 2017. The Bulletin and technical assistance document provide clarification on waiver employment service requirements and comparable Vocational Rehabilitation services. As a follow-up to the release of this information, Duane Shumate, DD Director of Youth Transition and Employment presented two webinars on August 29 & 30 to review the contents and answer questions.
