Project SERV (School Emergency Response to Violence)

The U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Safe and Healthy Students administers the Project School Emergency Response to Violence (SERV) grant program to help schools recover following violent events.   Local educational agencies (LEAs) and institutions of higher education (IHEs) are eligible to apply for a Project SERV grant if their learning environment has been disrupted as a direct result of suicide deaths of students, faculty members and/or staff, and responding to the crisis poses an undue financial hardship.  For more information visit the Project SERV website or review their announcements of recent awards.
