Revised - Intensive CPR in Residential Settings - procedure codes, rates and descriptions
Please note we are reissuing the above document that was part of our correspondence regarding Intensive CPR services for adults back in February, with a revised date (4/22/11). Please use this document and discard the previous one. We ran into an issue that was preventing payment of the Intensive CPR – IRTS service code (H0037TF). The previously designated MHN Place of Service (POS) code of 56 was rejecting because additional information was being required on the claim, that was not modeled in CIMOR. We have received approval from MHN to use Place of Service 99 (Other) on H0037TF claims, temporarily, while we explore the necessary system changes in CIMOR. Please note this change on the Intensive CPR-IRTS page. Effective immediately, please use POS code 99 when submitting new claims in CIMOR or when adjusting claims in IGT for procedure code H0037TF. Do not use POS code 56, until instructed otherwise.
