Adair County Senate Bill 40 Developmental Disabilities Board and PACT Activity Center: The ACSDDB is a not-for-profit governmental organization which serves citizens of Adair County with developmental disabilities. The Board provides funding for individual needs and not-for-profit agencies as well as an array of daily activities (through the PACT Center) to enhance socialization, community integration, life skills and employment opportunities.Effective September 1 of 2010, the Board will also begin offering targeted case management to persons who qualify through the Division of Developmental Disabilities in the counties of Adair, Sullivan, Putnam, Schuyler and Scotland. Kirk-Tran − Kirksville’s public transportation system offers both a fixed route and demand response. This is available for all residents within a 15 mile radius of downtown Kirksville regardless of age or income.

People First of Missouri - Is a statewide organization formed by, run by and which exists for persons with developmental disabilities. Currently there are over 40 chapters across the state of Missouri with approximately 1,000 members.
