Behavior Resource Team
The Kirksville Regional Office Behavior Resource Team (BRT) provides information, training and consultation on the development and provision of positive behavior supports for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. This will include proactive training on positive behavior supports to environmental evaluations as well as crisis support via phone or direct service when necessary. Settings where BRT assistance may be utilized include:
- Natural Home - individuals residing independently within community or with family
- Residential Placement - ISL or Group Home

- Pamela Shannon - Behavior Resource Team Lead - Kirksville. Has completed training in the areas of Tools for Choice, Positive Behavioral Supports, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Understanding Autism, Behavior Solutions and Adolescent Issues on the Autism Spectrum, Mandt, Conference on the Treatment of Sexual Abuse, Reintegrating Sexual Offenders Back Into Their Home Community, Strength Based Services and Working With Families of Mentally Ill Clients.
