CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
The Missouri Division of Comprehensive Psychiatric Services seeks a Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Sex Offender Rehabilitation and Treatment Service (SORTS) at Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center in Farmington, Missouri. The COO directs the daily operations of a 128 bed sexually violent predator service within a long term care psychiatric hospital and is a consultant to the sexually violent predator wards at Fulton State Hospital (SORTS – Fulton), Fulton, Missouri. Additionally, the COO coordinates state wide sexually violent predator conditional release programming with the Missouri Department of Corrections – Division of Probation and Parole.
Minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree in a behavioral health or hospital administration related field and a minimum 5 years of professional experience in the field of mental health, public health, public or health administration, or mental health law with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management capacity desirable. Psychiatrist
Metropolitan St. Louis Psychiatric Center, St. Louis, MO
The Eastern Region of the Missouri Department of Mental Health is seeking a Full-Time Psychiatrist to serve a 50-bed Joint Commission accredited and CMS certified psychiatric care facility operated by the Missouri Department of Mental Health. The focus of this facility’s treatment program is restoration to competency. MPC is located in the metropolitan St. Louis, Missouri area.
Board certification or eligibility is preferred and a background in forensics is desirable but not required. The qualified candidate must have a comfort level with acute care clients who are coming from county jails who require rapid stabilization so he/she can benefit from the extensive restoration program. The successful candidate must possess strong documentation skills and the ability to work with a Clinical Treatment Team and Peer Review Group. This position offers a competitive salary and generous benefits. This position reports to the facility Medical Director.
