Family Involvement
From development of the individualized treatment plan to aftercare, the hospital staff works closely with parents or legal guardians to involve them in all phases of treatment. This involvement may include family counseling and parent training designed to complement services the child receives. Flexible scheduling accommodates a family's needs and makes it convenient for family members to participate.
Hawthorn believes that families are the most important partner on their child's treatment team. We pledge to respect the unique needs of each child and the unique strengths of each family. We strive to ensure that each child and family will be successful when discharged from Hawthorn.
