Quality Assurance Advisory Group
The Quality Advisory Group provides input and recommendations to the Division of Developmental Disabilities (Division of DD) on development and enhancements to the comprehensive quality management system of the DD service continuum. The group was created in response to requests by families and persons with disabilities to have a more active voice in the quality assurance system, decision making and to improve communication on policy issues.
The Quality Advisory Group is comprised of representatives from a variety of stakeholder groups including the Missouri Planning Council for Developmental Disabilities, People First, SAFE Program Volunteers, Missouri Parents ACT (MPACT), the Missouri Public Administrators Association and family members of individuals who reside in habilitation centers. Members of the Quality Advisory Group members are responsible for communicating information to and obtaining feedback from their sponsoring organization or group of peers whom they represent.
Department of Mental Health Support: The Division of DD Quality Manager and the DMH Quality Improvement Manager provide support to the Advisory Group and function as ex-officio (non-voting) members of the group. Other members of the Statewide Quality Enhancement Team and DD Systems Transformation Initiative staff participate in meetings as needed, depending on the topics for review, discussion and action.
