The Division is committed to individuals having access to individualized supports that provide access to opportunities that increase independence, integration, inclusion, productivity, self determination and health and safety.
Self Directed Supports: Here you will find your “One Stop” for linking you to information on Self-Directed Supports. You'll read personal stories about some of the people who self-direct their services, practical “how to” information and resources to make self-directed supports a reality for those who choose it.
Behavior Services: This service is the application of applied behavior analysis principles and strategies to help individuals demonstrating significant deficits (challenges) in the areas of behavior, social, and communication skills acquire functional skills in their homes and communities and/or to prevent hospitalizations or out-of-home placements. First Steps: First Steps offers coordinated services and assistance to young children with special needs and their families. First Steps is designed for children, birth to age three, who have delayed development or diagnosed conditions that are associated with developmental disabilities.
