Nominations Open for the 2012 Mental Health Champions!

The Missouri Mental Health Foundation is accepting nominations for the Fifth Annual Mental Health Champions’ Banquet.

Three persons will be selected as Mental Health Champions – an individual with a diagnosed mental illness; an individual with a developmental disability; and an individual in recovery from substance or gambling addiction. Nominations will be accepted until November 22, 2011. The winners will each receive a $1,000 cash award and will be honored at the Mental Health Champions’ Banquet in Jefferson City (date to be determined).

There are two ways to submit a nomination this year!

NOTE: Release forms must still be printed, signed and either faxed or mailed.

Mental Health Champions are individuals who have overcome their personal challenges to make life better for others and their communities. The 2008 thru 2011 winners provided inspiring stories of persistence and triumph in the face of daily challenge and adversity.
