Education

Education is a vital component of our treatment program.  Through a cooperative effort between Cottonwood and Cape Girardeau Public Schools, we are able to offer our residents quality education on facility grounds.  All credits for academic work completion are given through the Cape Girardeau Public School system.  Our challenged youth have the benefit of three self-contained classrooms that work to accommodate the special education needs of this population.  Cottonwood provides staff in each classroom, as well as therapist availability as needed, to ensure the educational support and success of our youth.
