Regional Quality Enhancement

Regional Quality Enhancement teams are located within each regional office across the state. They work in conjunction with the State Quality Enhancement team to help ensure consistent implementation of policies, procedures, and training across Missouri to ensure quality services for Missourians with developmental disabilities.

Regional Quality Enhancement teams are also responsible for reviewing, tracking, trending, and reporting matters related to the services that are provided to individuals with developmental disabilities by contracted providers within the regions.

Regional Quality Enhancement teams routinely conduct quality enhancement reviews, nursing reviews, and consumer surveys within their regions with state contracted providers, and they consult with providers on identifying and making system improvements and following best practices. Regional QE teams are also responsible to facilitate the implementation and review of human rights and ensure the review process is followed appropriately throughout the region.

In addition, the Regional Quality Enhancement teams monitor the performance of the regional offices based on current standards and requirements.
